Caldwell is renowned for its immense fishing and crabbing and is the gateway to the world famous Hinchinbrook Island and Thorsborne Walking Trail. It's been over four years since Cyclone Yasi hit the Far North Queensland coast and dealt us a devastating blow. But we're back in action and better than earlier with brand fresh Ocean View Family Villas, fully renovated motel rooms, a packed refurbishment of our restaurant and much more! We cater for everyone from couples, families, fishermen, business guests even your pets as we are a pet sociable park! This includes clean, comfortable new rooms, well maintained sites and clean, new amenities. To ensure we have ample time to have your room, cabin or site ready we question your cooperation in observing our check in and check out times. Willing a maximum of 7 people, there are two large bedrooms downstairs with a queen in one room and bunks and a single in the other. French doors precede out to a private patio Bi Ch an outdoor setting provided for your enjoyment. All twelve fully refurbished ground floor and first floor rooms confront the beachfront. All downstairs rooms have a queen size bed and a king single bed (trundle available), willing a highest of four guests all upstairs rooms have a king bed only. Rooms are air conditioned, have a little refrigerator, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. Toasters are available on request but cooking of food in the rooms is not permitted due to fire safety regulations. All downstairs rooms have a queen size bed and a single bed, willing a uppermost of three guests all upstairs rooms have a queen bed only. Rooms are air conditioned, have a small refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Our brand new Poolside cabins give a modern self contained unit overlooking the pool area and brand new kids playground. With a queen bed and bunk beds these new cabins are apropos for a family of two adults two children. A veranda with an outdoor setting is provided for your enjoyment. Each cabin has a double bed and double bunks accommodating a maximum of four people (two adults and two children). Our park covers six tropical acres with sites to suit the largest fifth wheeler or the minimum two man tent. Miles of beach at our doorstep for your pet to play. Relax around our tropical salt water pool while the kids explore the park on our go karts, or enjoy a slow afternoon drink or evening meal at our beachfront restaurant. Have a game of basketball, tennis or cricket at the local sports facilities.
